Using instruction:
Plug the cable into the GPS port of the camera
Turn on the camera

EasyTagger Basic GPS Review by Barry
Quality Value Price Quality Value Price I was looking for a GPS attachemtn for my camera – a Nikon D5100 – and came accross this http://e-geotag.com/easytagger-basic-gps.html. The official Nikon one is about twice the price for some reason, and doesn’t appear to have that great reviews. I ordered it form China and it arrived within the week. I was impressed with the quick delivery. I’m currently waiting longer than that for my lens hood from Germany! Anyway, it was easy to install as all you need to do is plug the cable in. This was a little stiff and I was a little unsure if I had it in correctly. The camera detected the GPS immediately. I went outside to take my first shots and with a clear view of the sky the GPS was locked on in less than a minute. Looking at the photo on google maps shows it was pretty accurate. It looks to be about 2m away from where I actaully was. Impressive! The only issue I did notice was that it disconnects occasionally. I discovered that thi was due to the cable not being pushed in completely due to the aforementioned stiffness. An extra push has ensure that it keeps it’s connection. As to battery life, I’m not sure. I’ve not ahd it too long, and the camera is pretty new too so I’m not sure how long it would last without the GPS.
For $50 (plus P&P), I really can’t complain. (Posted on 2/23/12) -

Quality Value Price My first Geotagger from e-geotag.com, easy to use and most importantly, it works.
This is a device which I have just bought that may be useful to some of you hunting for a low cost GPS tagging item. Because of this device, I have just started geotagging all my photos for better personal record.
It is the Easytag. It is incredible easy to use, just slide it in the hotshoe and connect the GPS cable and that's it. Btw, you need to be in the open to activate it, just wait for a min in the open and the GPS icon will stop blinking and you are done. Even if you off your camera for a while and switch it back on, it will only blink for a second or 2. There is a back up battery in it.
The smart thing about it is that there is a short stand which does 2 things, it does not bump into my forehead when I am using it and it allows the built-in flash to pop ups thus not interfering my use with the Nikon wireless CLS for off-camera flashes. Even if you attach a flash onto the hotshoe, you can use the "magic belt" to attach it to your camera strap. Just holler me if you wanna ask anything.
I used GeoSetter to see the location of the photo taken and the program uses the Google Map to display the location shot. Very accurate. (Posted on 10/27/11) -

I am so impressed with the product and the company. Easytagger GPS Basics version works wonderful.
The company service is the best. I received Easytagger GPS Basics version for my Nikon D300 about six weeks ago. I found that the cord from Easytagger to the 10 pin connection pretty tight. I emailed Easytagger, explained that I would like the cord about a inch longer. They said, they would do that!!! Plus, I could keep the one I had until the new one arrived. I was very glad to received the second and it works perfect.
